Making the right choice
It’s an uncomfortable truth but we’re still highly dependent on oil in the UK. This isn’t only evident in the way we travel but also in what we put on our floors. Around 70% of the flooring installed in commercial projects last year was petroleum-based in one form or another - including carpets with bitumen backing or nylon fibres, vinyl tiles or sheet and rubber floors.
We’ve committed ourselves at Floorsauce to providing viable, more sustainable alternatives to all of these products. Our base test of sustainability is the world-renowned Living Future’s Red List of potentially harmful chemicals. If a flooring material wants to call itself ‘green’ this is the minimum standard that it should reach.
Purline is the sustainable direct alternative to vinyl sheet and tile (LVT). It’s made from plant oils such as canola or castor oil and naturally-occurring minerals such as chalk so is Red List Free and, most importantly, has around 40% lower environmental impact than LVT.
Purline sets a new standard in sustainability but there’s no compromise when it comes to performance. It delivers the highest levels of durability and resistance to staining and damage.
This minimises maintenance requirements and reduces lifecycle costs, making Purline the smart choice for the most demanding commercial environments.
Don’t take our word for it. Purline has been independently tested, assessed and judged by experts and has won multiple design awards and environmental accreditations including Cradle to Cradle certification.
Have it your way
Purline comes in a number of formats including sheet and tiles. The extensive colour palette is organised around tonal collections - cool, warm, bright and pure - so there’s lots of design flexibility. And, if that’s not enough, custom designs can be created to your specification.
Simply fill in the form and one of our experts will be in touch to discuss your project requirements and to help you make your design vision a reality.
