BIO RUBBER
Flooring for modern living
Traditional rubber flooring is a bit old-school (literally) but it's time to put the preconceptions aside. It has been reinvented for the 21st century. Bio Rubber is seamless - it's applied as a liquid - so it's like a resin floor but delivers an unrivalled combination of contemporary looks, product performance and sustainability.
“PVC is the normal abuse of science that we have seen with tobacco, asbestos, and pesticides. I don’t know one innovative company that is not eliminating PVC.
Not one.”
BETTER FOR THE PLANET
Around 40% of UK commercial flooring is PVC-based. This includes safety floors, sheet vinyl and luxury vinyl tiles. Sustainable alternatives with a much lighter environmental impact exist for all PVC flooring types.
It comes a shock to some to learn that the majority of rubber flooring used in the UK is made from petroleum so has a high carbon footprint and is damaging to the environment. Bio Rubber is very different, it's a mix of Bio Resin - made from plant oil not crude oil - and (post-consumer) recycled rubber so it's much better for the environment.
